s.a.Wilsons coffee is ideal for use in enemas as it contains higher levels of caffeine, palmitic acid and cafestol than is normally found in traditional drinking coffee.
s.a.Wilsons coffee is a wonderful gold roasted coffee grind. Gold roasted coffee bean blends are naturally rich in polyphenol antioxidants.
The s.a.Wilsons coffee blend is prepared by selecting the beans for their specific properties and by using a light roasting technique, that way the properties of these little coffee beans are not burnt away during the typical roasting process. Please note this gold coffee is not decaffeinated and it contains higher levels of caffeine, palmitic acid and cafestol than is normally found in traditional coffee.
The s.a.Wilsons coffee blend is prepared by selecting the beans for their specific properties and by using a light roasting technique so the coffee looks and tastes quite different to the typical coffee on the local supermarket shelf, we think it looks and tastes like a tea! We import direct from the producer s.a.Wilsons in Canada.
The s.a.Wilsons coffee is a different colour when ready for use, looking more like a pale green tea, and has a much lighter taste. The s.a.Wilsons coffee is supplied ready to go, no grinding necessary. The s.a.Wilsons coffee grind is very fine, open the sealed bag and the s.a.Wilsons coffee looks like crushed digestive biscuits and has a slightly nutty aroma.
There are no additives and there are no fillers used in s.a.Wilsons coffee.
1Kilo bag of s.a.Wilsons coffee will provide 15-20 x 32floz batches of liquid coffee.To make up the coffee solution
To make up the coffee solution
- Place 32 fluid ounces filtered water plus 3 rounded tablespoons of the s.a.Wilsons coffee into a non-aluminum saucepan. Stir well.
- Bring to boil and boil for 3 to 5 minutes (stir occasionally).
- Reduce heat, cover pot and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Remove from hob and let s.a.Wilsons coffee cool down to room temperature.
- Strain s.a.Wilsons coffee through fine metal sieve.
- Make mixture back up to 32fl oz with more pure water.
Use liquid within 24 hours.
Precautions and Storage
Store your s.a.Wilsons coffee beans in an air tight container like a jar or zip lock bag in a cool , dry and dark place. No need to refrigerate.
Note: Because s.a.Wilsons coffee has much higher levels of caffeine than in most ready to use coffee blends we feel it should be avoided by those intolerant to drinking caffeine.
